Nishant Soni
Before founding Assurent Advisors, Nishant built up his expertise at Deloitte, EY and Knowcraft catering U.S.-focused outsourcing firms. For nearly a decade Nishant has supported U.S.-based teams and led client-facing service teams for valuation, transaction support, and financial modeling. Using his own experiences as a template, Nishant ensures that the Assurent team provides high-quality and supportable analysis, insightful research, clear communication, and accountability. Nishant has an MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad with his undergraduate in Advanced Accounting from SEMCOM. Nishant is an avid tennis and soccer fan. Additionally, he enjoys sketch and artwork.
Ben Towne
Ben Towne serves as a U.S.-based mentor and Advisor for Assurent Advisors providing guidance on U.S. valuation practices and quality standards. He is a licensed CPA and holds the ABV credential. He is a 20-year veteran of public practice and business valuations with experience spanning early-stage startups through IPO and privately held companies through owner exits. He is a leader of the California Society of CPAs in the Business Valuation Section as well as a Past President of the Silicon Valley chapter. He is a member of Bay Angels and is a past winner of the AICPA Standing Ovation award and NACVA 40 Under 40 recognition. Ben is an avid hockey fan and he and his family are often seen at the local hockey rink.
